Restoration and prosthetics

Restorative dentistry focuses on the reconstruction of damaged or missing teeth and the restoration of proper function of the dental system. The main aim is to return comfort in chewing, maintain oral health, and achieve a natural, balanced aesthetic.

Treatment options include crowns, veneers, bridges, removable dentures, and implant-supported restorations. Modern prosthetic solutions allow teeth to be restored with a high level of precision, durability, and a natural appearance.

Treatment planning is based on advanced diagnostics and digital modelling. This enables the clinician to select the most suitable restorative approach and to demonstrate the expected outcome to the patient in advance.

When is prosthodontic treatment needed?

Prosthodontic treatment may be required in cases of tooth damage, loss of one or more teeth, or when there is a need to restore the aesthetics of the smile.

Timely restoration helps prevent the shifting of adjacent teeth, bite misalignment, and excessive нагрузка on the remaining teeth.
  • Tooth damage

If a tooth is severely damaged and cannot be restored with a standard filling, your dentist may recommend placing a crown. A crown restores the tooth’s shape, protects it from further damage, and returns full function.
  • Missing one or more teeth

When a tooth is lost, a dental bridge or an implant-supported restoration may be recommended. This helps restore proper chewing function and prevents adjacent teeth from shifting.
  • Aesthetic imperfections of the teeth

Chips, cracks, discoloration of the enamel, or irregular tooth shape can be corrected with veneers or aesthetic restorations.
  • Tooth wear

Over time, teeth can gradually wear down, leading to changes in the bite and increased sensitivity. Prosthodontic treatment helps restore the natural anatomy of the teeth and the proper bite height.
  • Dental arch deformation

Tooth loss or prolonged lack of treatment can lead to shifting of the teeth and bite misalignment. In such cases, comprehensive prosthodontic treatment is required.
  • Implant-supported prosthetics

After implant placement, the prosthodontic phase begins - crowns or prosthetic restorations are placed to fully restore both function and appearance.
